Tacenska trojka residential area is located at the northwest edge of Ljubljana at the foothill of Šmarna gora. It consists of three segments of apartment buildings at one side of Tacenska cesta (Tacen road). There are 154 apartments (28-150m2). The basic guideline in apartment design is the illumination of the apartment living area with sunlight. The location itself also represents one of the qualities, being near the rapids of Sava River and a popular hiking point Šmarna gora.
The residential area is functionally separated from the business area, located at the ground floor area; there are 11 premises, built to 3rd construction phase and are intended as supplying facilities for the area. Two basement floors beneath the buildings provide parking area.
